Cute
1. Gd way to ‘teach’ zakat to kids/beginners if they’re watching by themselves.
2. Gd way for families to watch together, so the parents can add a few more pointers to their children and the whole family learns more abt zakat
A few things missing though:
1. It only talks abt zakat fitrah, but if thats the sole intention, that it does so very well (Sorry, just looking at your perspective of a zakat officer
you do handle zakat harta as well rite?) Its just tt I think ppl only know abt zakat fitrah more (which is prominently ’seen’ every Ramadhan) but not zakat harta…
2. When the Upin (Ipin?) asks the amil why he didnt salam Opah, the reason wasn’t given.
3. Though there’s a few missing explanations for zakat (purification etc), it was succinctly put as ‘for the needy’ and this suffices for its target audience.

Zakat issue? Graphics? entah eh. Maybe i just throw in my not-so-worthy opinion. =)
anyways i have always like Upin dan Ipin! yeah!
if with regards to your job task as a zakat strategist, correct me if i am not right about your job, i guess this would be a great video -just edit abit for the context of singapore- to fish more people to pay zakat.
More awareness i guess and more reminders are needed for the community here in singapore.
I like the cartoon theme as it makes zakat a less stressful issue to deal with and it makes people more open about paying zakat.

This medium of education gives me a certain encouragement to forward this link to others because it makes me feel that they would enjoy it and understand it as much I did. Yeah =D
1st time I watched Upin n Ipin. Kinda cute.
To the point, here are issues that comes to mind:
1. Depending on your audience, the internet video may be perceived as long.
2. Shaking hands when paying the zakat… Coz the issue of paying through internet etc also comes into mind.
3. Perhaps.. You just might wanna include among the “worldly benefits” of zakat: That it’s tax deductible. Don’t forget the aakhirah benefits too!!
4. Asnafs. More info on who receives the zakat, how it gets disbursed.
So watcha using the vid for anyways? Are we gonna see Upin n Ipin living in an HDB estate soon? =D
