MasyaAllah. How can we not be optimistic? More and more materials teaching about Islam and its rich aspects are finding their way through such packaging. Think about visitdyn and the ingenious way they da’wah about the sunnah of our prophet (s.a.w.) to the youtubing muslims out there. Think about ArabicPod and how it targets the podcast muslim generation.
Here is another fine example:
There are so many gaps (and catching up) to be filled when exploring methods of da’wah, especially to the new generations of muslims out there, who have never known the world without computers, who have never known the world without the internet. The reality is, there is also a very specific generation growing up who are also being introduced to the religion of Islam via the violence that they see on their tv sets, and the word terrorism they often hear in the news.
It is up to us. Let’s all use whatever skills we have, and da’wah in accordance with the shari’ah using the enslaught of mediums at our disposal today.
Looking at the wave of new forms of da’wah out there, how again can we not be optimistic. No matter what some out there might try to do to gross this beautiful deen sent by our prophet (s.a.w.), they can never match the force of the ummah who strive to correct injustice using the full god given creative capacities they have to produce videos such as the one above. Pro-activism is central to our religion, and not reactivism. When pro-activism meets the confidence in God Almighty, the result is a pure tour-de-force. Let me say that again.
When pro-activism meets the confidence in God Almighty, the result is a pure tour-de-force.
You have to be certain, that there can be no doubt about it. InsyaAllah.
And seek help in patience and As-Salât (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khâshi’ûn [i.e. the true believers in Allâh - those who obey Allâh with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise,) and in His Warnings (Hell, )]. (45) (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. (46)[2:45-46]
