This idea came about 2 hours ago, around 5am in the morning. You know those bubble wraps used for packaging fragile stuffs? Just like many kids today, I remember how I used to love just pressing each one of those small circles till all was flat.
Here’s the idea: can we use those bubble wraps in very young Muslim play centres and nurseries, and encourage kids to dzikr while playing with those bubble wraps? So the teacher for example trains the kids to say “Subhanallah” as they press and have fun pressing each bubble. Now, I’m not sure if it is permissable, but the idea is to train that motor skill and also to wetten their young lips with the remembrance of God through play.
I hope the asatizah readers especially can give feedback on this.

Interesting but wouldn’t it be expensive? Unlike the dzikir chain, the bubble wraps cannot be reused therefore it can be quite costly..
It would be fun and I would think that probably it can be done once a while or a bluemoon to break the usual routines.

I think the margins for bubble wraps looks nice since most of the time after purchasing the main product these are just thrown away along with the styrofoams and boxes…
The core product here is Fun and Satisfaction, target audience is kids. So for the kids, dzikir chains might be more expensive in that expect if the measurement of success is customer loyalty (they keep coming back for more to play… and dzikir). Of course, it could backfire. But the idea similar to how we try to encourage them to take their breakfast with colourful cereals in different shapes, or the tasty kodomo toothpastes.
