Rethinking Marketing

“Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.”

Using Stickynotes to Measure Comments

At my workplace, I get comments from colleagues and members of public about everything under the sun. And after each remark (well, almost all of ‘em), I’d take that red squarish sticky notepad of mine, write out the suggestion using a marker, and paste it all around my workstation, near the ledges.

It’s visual to say the least. But it reminds me to address these queries on a daily basis. More importantly, it gives these comments a face and presence in my workplace.

Customers are key stakeholders. Let their voices be heard and seen. Literally.
