My name is Nurhafihz and I live in sunny Singapore. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration with Merit with a specialization in Marketing and minor in Technopreneurship from the National University of Singapore Business School. I am also the author of “The 10 Secrets of Power Presentations” - a 99 paged book mapping out 10 key principles of successful presentations, now available on-shelf at Lee Kong Chian Reference Library (English 658.452 NUR). Part Hobby, Part Profession

Blogging and writing articles on this site is not my full time profession though it seems like it, because sometimes I have to communicate certain themes in live lessons and seminars to give the complete picture to readers like you. However I do try and pack as much content as I can online, from eBooks to reviews to videos, such as my elearning page where I feature quick guides in pdf and video format. Besides writing here, I am also a columnist for The Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore.

Communicating Meaning via Marketing + Motivation + Muslim

(The Boring Explanation…)

Marketing is the art and science of creating, communicating and delivering value to a target audience. It is a skill important and relevant to anyone in almost any field. Motivation is deeply embedded within marketing - you market to drive motivation, and you motivate well by marketing (communicating value) about the person well. As for Muslim and Islam, Marketing + Motivation I feel form one of the cores of the spirit of Da’wah: To motivate people towards value (Islam). Also, anyone who has studied the Islamic tradition and knows Marketing surely has seen the many modern day marketing principles such as “positioning” and “targeting” in the strategies of the early Muslims to spread the word of peace.

• Motivation: Fries to get your meal of life going.
• Islam: The drink of life that you take before the meal, and that you finish after.
